I love chocolate, I love almonds, I love oatmeal. Put the three together and I’m in love! This easy overnight oats recipe is full of protein and excellent fuel in the morning! Throw everything in a mason jar or snap glassware before bed – stick in fridge, warm up in morning or eat cold on the go!

Ingredients:

1/4c quick oats (I use gluten free)

1/2c plain fat free greek yogurt

1/4c unsweetened vanilla almond milk or coconut milk

1tsp of almond extract

2tsp vanilla extract

2 tbsp chocolate Shakeology or another chocolate protein powder

1tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder

2tsp sweetner of choice (I used stevia)

1/8c mixed nuts or raw almonds (add in morning)

Directions:

Mix together in mason jar or snap glass ware. Cover. Put in fridge overnight.

In morning, warm up or not– your choice. Top with 1/8c (1/2 serving) of nuts. Enjoy!
