Fall is in the air and that means fall food! Soups, turkey… and rolls, gravy, stuffing, pie and more. Soon the holidays will be here and so will the temptations. Aunt Ruth’s famous overload bars, your cousin Jerry’s 7-layer dip, and your grandma’s apple crisp.

The holidays sure are hard, aren’t they? Food is such a huge part of all of us coming together, that it can be hard to make good choices. So be determined this year to have a great holiday season, and make the best choices possible with regards to your nutrition.

I challenge you to start now, even before the Halloween candy starts coming in! If you haven’t tried the 21 Day Fix program, send me a message and I’ll tell you all about it. I have a November group kicking off and it will be perfect to get you in the right mindset to take the holidays by storm without extra weight. It is so perfect to help you stay on track this time of year. It’s a great way to plan your meals so you know you are getting balanced portions from the right food groups. The colored containers make things super easy and fun to prepare.

If you are already on the 21 Day Fix program, make sure to change things up and keep things interesting. Get creative and try new things! If you need some help, here are some dinner ideas for you. And since it is fall, for this post we’ll focus on crock pot meals. You really can’t beat a healthy crock pot meal! Good for you, easy to prepare, and ready when you need it. And who knows? Maybe they’ll be a hit at your next holiday get-together.

Here are a few of my favorites that you will see often in our kitchen! Most of these recipe links contain the container breakdowns for you as well if you are on the fix.

Enjoy!
